Jersey Ave Bridge Letter: DCNA to Deputy Mayor and City Council

Thank you all again for your continued feedback and suggestions regarding the Jersey Avenue Bridge Extension.  On  August 31st, 2015, The Downtown Coalition of Neighborhood Associations (DCNA) submitted a letter on behalf of the community to the Deputy Mayor and City Council to continue to highlight the myriad of community concerns surrounding the Jersey Ave Bridge Extension.  The letter calls for the City to mandate a new traffic and community impact study as a precondition for the implementation of the Extension.  In addition as well as calls for the City to create a Master Plan to proactively address development in our City.  This latest DCNA letter supplements the July 8th, 2015 VVPA letter that was submitted on behalf of the community to the City and the Turnpike Authority to express similar concerns.  At this time, neither letter has garnered a response – we will keep you posted as soon as a response is received to either communication.  Click here to view a copy of the DCNA letter.
