WEDNESDAY September 17th Films in Van Vorst presents the final film of the season “The Namesake” directed by Mira Nair in Van Vorst Park just east of the gazebo around 8:00 pm. SATURDAY, Sept 20th, 27th & Oct 4th- The Friends of Van Vorst Park is pleased to announce its 6th annual Farmer’s Market, each Saturday, starting June 14th and continuing through November from 8am-2pm. Vendors be set up around the gazebo.

SUNDAY, September 21st 11;00-3:00 “Bark in the Park” Liberty Humane fundraiser. Besides the 2-mile walk that offers breathtaking views of the NYC skyline, there will be games and contests for dogs, music, food and shopping vendors.
