Representatives from the East District will give their monthly report and respond to questions from the membership
The President of Friends of Liberty State Park will speak to us on recent developments within the Park, its history, how to get involved as well as the status of the 911 Memorial lawsuit , followed by a Q&A with the membership.
Nominations for the 2008-2009 Board of the VVPA. Any member who has attended 3 meetings including this evening is eligible to become a member of the board.

SATURDAY, Sept 20th, 27th & Oct 4th- The Friends of Van Vorst Park is pleased to announce its 6th annual Farmer’s Market, each Saturday, starting June 14th and continuing through November from 8am-2pm. Vendors be set up around the gazebo.
SUNDAY, September 21st 11;00-3:00 “Bark in the Park” Liberty Humane fundraiser. Besides the 2-mile walk that offers breathtaking views of the NYC skyline, there will be games and contests for dogs, music, food and shopping vendors. It’s sure to be a fun day for the entire family – for dogs, music, food and shopping including the four legged members! TUESDAY September 23rd- Captain McDonough’s East District Monthly Meeting
