CALENDAR OF EVENTS

THURSDAY, August 21st 7:00pm Shakespeare’s” Julius Caesar” in Van Vorst Park on the Flagpole lawn Performed by the Hudson Shakespeare Co. with an all female cast!

SATURDAY, August 23rd, 30th &Sept 6th – The Friends of Van Vorst Park is pleased to announce its 6th annual Farmer’s Market, each Saturday, starting June 14th and continuing through November from 8am-2pm. Vendors will be set up around the gazebo.

TUESDAY August 26th- Captain McDonough’s East District Monthly Meeting

Public School 4, Bright and Varick Streets at 7:00 pm. The meeting is a presentation similar to COMPSTAT. The captain will respond to all questions, issues and concerns as well as provide presentations from the East District Detective Commander and the Narcotics and Street Crimes Unit. WEDNESDAY, August 20th Films in Van Vorst presents “Rear Window” directed by Alfred Hitchcock in Van Vorst Park just east of the gazebo around 8:15 pm.

WEDNESDAY September 3rd Films in Van Vorst presents “Michael Clayton” directed by Tony Gilroy in Van Vorst Park just east of the gazebo around 8:15 pm. shown every other.
