Suzanne Mack member of the Jersey City Board Of Education and Chairperson of the Facilities Committee will discuss the return of our schools to local control and its effect on facilities and public education In our city.
CALENDAR OF EVENTS
SAT. JUNE 14TH, 21 ST, 28TH,The Friends of Van Vorst Park 6th Annual Farmer’s Market each Saturday, starting June 14th and continuing through November from 8am-2pm. Vendors will be set up around the gazebo.
SUN. JUNE 22ND Be Square Recreate Paulus Hook Park from noon to 4:00pm at Paulus Hook Park. The festival will include a barbeque, food by local restaurants, live entertainment by Jersey City musicians, activities for children and adults, “design your park” templates, and voter registration tables. Grand Street between Washington and Greene Streets will be closed for neighbors to enjoy the festivities.
The Friends of Paulus Hook Park will host this festival, sponsored by the Historic Paulus Hook Association, at the downtown Jersey City park known to longtime residents as the Four Corner Park, at the intersection of Washington and Grand Streets. For more info contact Stephanie Daniels 201-200-0055
TUES. JUNE 24TH – Captain McDonough’s East District Monthly Meeting. The captain will respond to all questions, issues and concerns as well as provide presentations from the Narcotics and Street Crimes Unit. 7:00 p.m., at P.S. 4, located at Bright and Varick St.
