Sat. October 18 — Embankment Preservation Coalition Celebration The Coalition invites its members, supporters, and the general public to join in a Celebration. An August ruling by the STB gives city, county, and state governments a second chance to acquire the Embankment on reasonable terms. This win is an inspiring example of citizen collaboration. The event will include children’s activities, music, refreshments, and an Embankment tour highlighting gardens that back up to the Embankment.
